People hate 9S for being an android with emotions than some bad-ass dude-bro who somehow can take anything physically and emotionally. Some even says 9S is weak for keeping his hate even after his 2 weeks "nap". But in canon, he's an android not human. He can't somehow heal his mind and wound periodically over time like humans.
